two people, two states, one tend practice.
we met at the 2023 IEA conference and stayed friends ever since, building this from two different corners of the country. lee is an enneagram type 1 and steph is an enneagram type 4, which means we see the world differently and have learned to listen well because of it. we wanted to build something similar too: with less teaching and more practice, holding the enneagram alongside other wisdom and actual change.

hi, i’m lee fields-
an enneagram practitioner certified through The Narrative Enneagram, ATA and Enneagram Applications. I’m on the faculty with Awareness to Action, Intl. I serve as vice president and programming chair on the Board of IEASoutheastUSA. I studied with Leslie Hershberger and now co-teach Embodied Shadow Work with her as well as facilitating small Dream Work circles. I’ve trained in somatic work with Marion Gilbert, and interpersonal neurobiology with Dan Siegel—not to collect certificates, but to help people live what they learn. You could say self awareness is kind of a hobby.
My background is a patchwork: social work, real estate, podcast hosting, parenting, and testing recipes for a cooking magazine where I perfected the deviled egg in 27 steps. (Yes, it involved a piping bag. No, I don’t regret it.)
These days, I lead groups, teach workshops, coach individuals and co-host a couple of podcasts, including a new one on clear thinking and the enneagram and the International Enneagram Association’s podcast—not to talk about theory, but to ask: what’s actually useful? I believe insight should translate into action, and awareness should shape how we move through the world on an ordinary Tuesday afternoon. If it doesn’t live in your body or impact your choices, it’s just trivia.

hi, i’m stephanie spencer-
an IEA accredited Enneagram professional, leadership coach, and facilitator. I work with nonprofits, executives, teams, and individuals to turn insight into action that actually changes how they show up in their work and their lives.
I’m also a visual artist and hiker, which means I’m constantly looking for meaning and beauty wherever I go, whether it’s in a trail at sunset, a studio project, or a conversation that unexpectedly opens up new insight. My book, Out of the Box and Into the Wild, reflects this curiosity, inviting readers to explore themselves and the world around them with clarity, compassion, and a sense of wonder.
I never stop asking deep questions about how people think, feel, and act, which makes me a good coach but not very fun at parties. I help people see the patterns that shape their lives and experiment with new ways of being, so insight doesn’t stay in theory—it becomes something they actually live.
